Welcome to Zar’s! Your first question probably is, “What is a Zar’s?” and my answer to that is a slightly convoluted one- going through medical school I learned the importance of reports-whether they were lab results or scan’s, reports helped validate a diagnoses, they helped narrow down the probable possibilities of what could be wrong, in a way reports are one of the corner stones of medicine today. Z 2 A reports or Zar’s simply stands for a comprehensive and a detailed look into the things I find fascinating and appealing.
I was born and raised in Mumbai and went to medical school there. After completing Med school, I moved to the United States to get Masters degree in Health Management and am currently working in a management position.
I love flipping through magazines, as a kid it used to be tinkle (Wasn’t Suppandi awesome-no matter what mood I was in, reading suppandi jokes made me smile) as a teenager I was my mom’s Femina and Cosmopolitan. Now that I am living on my own I subscribe to a whole host of magazines – everything from Bloomberg business week to Martha Stewart - what I love most about magazines is the editorial yet artsy look and thats what I have tried to re-create at Zar’s, where articles have an editorial look but also allow me to capture snippets of my life the way a blog would.
Zar’s is a great hobby and allows me to mix and capture my love for fashion, makeup, food and India -all in one place.
Thank you for stopping by!

*When I moved to America, every meeting invariably started with me slowly enunciating my name so folks could pronounce it right-despite many valiant try’s and going back and forth multiple times, most people found it hard so I shortened my name to Ash.
