Inspired by one of my favorite blog’s Positively Positive-I am giving “The List” series a twist.I am going to share with you my top find’s for the week in this new series.”The Find’s” series will include all my favorite discoveries- everything from books which I have been loving to articles which have inspired and motivated me,to amazing beauty products which have become a absolute must have.
Food : I love watching cooking shows and I recently came across a completely self produced, self hosted and self directed weekly cook show on youtube called Dulce Delight. The host of the cook show is Raiza Costa and her video on “Making of Dulce Delight- a homemade cooking show” highlights not only her passion for cooking but also her incredible attention to detail.
Beauty : YSL Rouge Volupte Sheer Candy Glossy Balms-A mix between a lip balm and a lip stain, its my new obsession. It lasts on your lips for a really long time and once the super hydrating lip balm has been absorbed your lips still remain stained with the slightest hint of color.
Tech : Instagram-Better late than never-I am finally getting on the instagram bandwagon.Follow me here
The Read : The article of the week-As the year comes to an end a lot of us are spending time reflecting upon the past 365 days.A look at the 12 mistakes we all probably made and how not to repeat them in 2013-12 Big Mistakes You Made This Year.
On my mind - I am praying hard for the 23 year old medical student “Amanat” (not her real name) who was brutally gang-raped, beaten and left to die on a flyover in Delhi. She and her family are in my prayers.
I would love to know if you have any suggestions of recommendations based on your “FIND’S”.
Happy Holidays!
-Ash.

I was reading the newspaper report on Amanat in papers a few days ago. I cannot believe something like this can happen to anyone.
and the worst is that we women are still living in such dangers in certain parts of the world. I’m grateful that the crime rate here where I stay is low, but I always remind myself never be complacent at all times.
I wish Amanat a speedy recovery and that she will pull it through. My thoughts are with her and her family too.
Same here-I was so disappointed and upset-I love India and its home but things like this are horrifying.
In med school during night duty,I and my friends would often make runs at 2 in the morning to grab coffee and food and we always took our safety for granted.Things like this really make you question how safe is India is for women and what we can do to make it better.
